Butterflies and Birds |
Hi friends...Thank you so much for encouraging my coloring on my
watercolored card...sharing yet another card with lots of watercoloring and inking.
I dont own many stamps and I dont buy many either since I tell myself I cant be bothered to color them! This cute love birds stamp was lying unused and unloved in my stash for more than 2 yrs! Yes I know so wicked of me to not use such an adorable stamp!! |
Butterflies and Birds |
I colored the stamped image with
Faber Castell water color pencils and a normal paintbrush dipped in water. Highlighted the stamped frame with
Gold liquid pearls. All the embossed flowers were inked with
Tumbled glass Distress Inks ...I love this soothing shade of aqua blue!
|
Mushroom Golden Charm |
The
golden mushroom is a charm from the local market and I think the birds and butterflies would love a mushroom in the garden!
|
Heat Embossed Butterfly |
Stamped and heat embossed a butterfly and water colored it using Distress Ink Pads. I swiped the Distress Ink Pad on the craft mat , misted with water and painted by dipping with a paint brush!
|
Heat Embossing |
The
golden die cut atop the framed image was cut using a
Marianne Anja Corner die and painstakingly inked with an
embossing pen and heat embossed with
Gold embossing powder. |
